South Plainfield is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and South Plainfield follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

One of the last authentic Korean places around. You don't get this type of home style cooking anymore. I've grown up coming to Kimchihana and now my kids have grown up eating here. It's the place we compare all other Korean restaurants to.

We have been here since like 10 years ago. And it's consistently the best Korean food. Pancake That has legit seafood filling. Jab che that taste like something good, and oh the BBQ meat haha. Hands down the best Korean food in the area. I am surprised this is rated 4 star? If you go in person, you get the ban chan. What a shame that you can do side dishes for pickup. It's nice to see that the mall has change (it's ShopRite now), but this restaurant still survive!

THIS PLACE HARASSES YOU TO PAY 20% MINIMUM FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD BASIC SERVICE! First thing, it smelled like cigarettes when you first come in and it looks really dingy and old inside but usually the foods always good at these type of places. WRONG! Food was just okay and super duper overpriced for what it is. Service was basic as we didnβt really ask for much so all the waitress did was bring our drinks, banchan and food. She grilled some of meats as they should bc itβs a Korean bbq spot! Then comes the check which was extremely overpriced for lunch for 4 people. We paid and tipped in cash, waitress comes back questioning the tip saying the tip should be 20% minimum. IF THAT WAS THE CASE THEN THEY SHOULD HAVE A SIGN STATING THAT! It did not state that on the receipt and we felt pressured to change it bc she was getting loud and causing a scene while hovering over us and watching us to change it. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN! Itβs not worth the price and embarrassment. There are so many other Korean bbq places in the area that are just as good if not better and you wonβt get harassed! No one should ever feel pressured to pay a specific amount of tip as it is optional! To the wa

I visited this Korean restaurant many times many many years ago. I had a very good impression of this restaurant. Due to the location, I visited it less later. I like their Korean appetizer dishes. Apparently, it ranks top one or two in my Korean restaurant list. The seafood pancake is the best I've ever had. Spicy pork was OK but a little bit light. I also tried their Chirashi... Um.... it's only OK for me. The service was prompt and good.... I'll try Korean BBQ next time.....

There are many Korean restaurants in Edison, but this one is the best we have visited so far. Nothing fancy. Just good food and homie vibe. First of all, they serve both BBQ and soup/rice bowl dishes, plus quality sushi and special rolls. Whatever your group may want, they have it all. Second, they are probably the only Korean restaurant in town not stingy about serving complimentary side dishes. Look at the photo I took - they actually try for variety. The eggplant cold dish was so good and unusual! They donβt charge extra $0.5 for take out boxes, nor would they ask you for cash or cash for tips. Third, their waiters and waitresses actually look happy and want to serve you. We have been here for both BBQ and soup dinner. The meat quality was excellent. They are BYOB and there is a liquor store right next door. Most people eating here are Koreans, not too many non-Korean people. Last but not the least, look at the portion they serve, and look at the price they charge. My Sul Lung Tang was only $14.95. The only downside is how smoky the restaurant gets as people come in big groups for Korean BBQ. Leave your jacket in the car, and be prepared for your outfits smell like Korean BBQ fo
